Are tanning pills safe?
There are two types of tanning pills. The first contains a dye or coloring agents that stain your skin. This type of tanning pill may contain Canthaxin, an illegal substance that has been banned from sale in the United States by the FDA. Concerns have been raised regarding the safety of these types of pills and their long-term effects on the liver.

The tanning pills we offer contain only natural ingredients purchased from U.S. sources. How do your tanning pills work?
Our tanning pills provide the vitamins your body needs to produce melanin. The more melanin you produce, the easier you tan and the darker you will become.

What is melanin?
The body produces a substance called melanin which is the pigment that gives you the brown look and provides you with natural protection against sunburn. Melanin is stored below the surface of your skin and when your skin is exposed to sunlight or a sun lamp, melanin is stimulated and drifts to the surface of your skin where it oxidizes to give you the golden brown tone we call a suntan.

How fast will I see results?
Because our ingredients are all natural, it takes a few days for them to work thr ough your system in order to produce additional melanin. We suggest you take two tablets twice per day for the first four to five days. After that, begin your sun tanning program. You should see noticeable results the day following your first tanning session and more dramatic results each time you tan. After four or five days, continue to take two tablets per day and tan a minimum of 20 minutes, twice per week.

How long should I take your tanning pills?
That depends on your skin type and the results you desire. Medium and olive skinned users who tan easily may only need to take the product for a couple of months and can then discontinue or go on a maintenance level of one tablet per day. Fair skinned users need extra melanin, so they will want to use this product throughout the tanning season.

I am fair skinned, why can't I tan easily?
The difference between people with fair skin and those with darker complexions is based on heredity and their genes. Blonde, blue-eyed people of Scandinavian and European descent produce much less melanin than someone of Mediterranean descent. Because they have less melanin in their systems, those with fair skin tend to burn easily and often find it difficult to get a dark tan.

I tan easily but can't get beyond a certain level. Will tanning pills help me?
This is called your tanning plateau. The amount of color you can achieve depends on the amount of melanin your system produces. Since our pills provide the vitamins your body needs to produce more melanin, you will find that you can move well beyond your personal tanning plateau and achieve a deep, dark, rich tan, many shades darker than before.

When do I take them?
We recommend one in the morning and one in the evening. It’s best to take them with meals as you get better assimilation.

What about skin damage from the sun?
Skin damage is the result of the cumulative effect of overexposure and repeated sunburn. A suntan is your body's natural way of protecting itself from overexposure. I need to tan quickly for a special event. Will these pills help?
Yes, however, you may need more than the minimum suggested exposure. Naturally, if you're able to tan more frequently, or perhaps use a sun bed, you'll experience faster results. Remember to never sun burn. Safe tanning is intelligent tanning.

How long will it take to receive my order?
All orders placed Monday through Friday before 2:30PM PST will ship that same day. Orders placed after 2:30PM PST will ship the following day. Any orders placed after 2:30PM PST on Friday and all orders placed over the weekend will ship Monday morning.  We ship from the West Coast so most U.S. customers can expect to receive their packages normally within 3 to 4 business days. If you need your order to arrive more quickly, you can request overnight shipping at the time of checkout. International orders take 4 to 15 days depending on the shipping method selected and your local customs office.

How do I return my order if I am dissatisfied?
Simply click this link, complete our Product Return Form and send it back to us, along with the used and/or unused bottle(s), to the address on the form. Please note: We are unable to refund the shipping and handling that you originally paid. We will notify you via email once your return has been processed and your refund has been issued. You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 7 to 10 business days from the time that we receive your return.
